May 10th. Mothers day phone call!

We got to sort of Skype with Jeremy. Our connection was really bad and had issues talking with him but then his technologically advanced brothers got him on google hangout and we were able to talk to him. Such a fun conversation! So good to see him and to know all is well with him. Did a mothers heart good seeing him!

Hey mom, that’s nuts that you guys went to California! I’m so jealous! Thanks for all the pictures. Michael got baptized this last week so that was pretty awesome. I’ll send a few pictures. Also I found out more about I pads they are coming and they are going to be free. I won’t get to keep them though haha. I can’t find the email you sent me! But I’ll send a few pictures from the baptism.

April 27th

I am doing good, Elder Green and I have been working hard knocking on doors haha. I have also been losing weight so hopefully I can keep goin! Michael hasn’t gotten baptized this week, he is going to get baptized this next weekend though so next p day I can send you pictures of it, along with the past like however long I haven’t sent pictures to you. but other than that it has been good out here, a lot more sunny the past few days haha, tell grandma and grandpas thank you for the money. I might just keep it on the card for now, I am going to try to not spend any personal funds at all. So yea haha it has been good. Yea you’re still old, haha! That sucks you guys have to move again but it least you don’t have to move all the crap we have out of the storage unit haha. Things will pick up when you get a job, just think maybe you didn’t get a job because you getting a job would’ve kept you from going to Washington and to San Diego (which I’m jealous of by the way take lots of pictures). Alec emailed me and that’s crazy haha, he has the strip in his mission!! And I knew about the ward splitting that sucks also, and that’s terrible that Bro Frame died, he was the one that taught me the temple prep course in 2 weeks instead of 5 haha, but he’s in a better place. England is going good, hopefully you guys have a place to skype me in a couple weeks. Oh ya! And the mission is getting iPads!! I don’t know too many details on it yet but I am excited for that. I’ll tell you more about it next week after the meeting in Leeds explaining it all to us. But you have fun in San Diego send me all the pictures of everyone, I love you and miss you!

Things are good haha Grimsby has been fun recently I am just knocking a whole lot with Elder Green. And teaching Michael, he’s going to make his date we are going to find out today if his surgery for carpel tunnel in his hands went alright, if those are good he’s getting dunked. I don’t know why he chose me to baptize him but I assume he just wants the guy who started teaching him again to do it. He does have cancer, it is terminal, but he should last a while he is doing a lot better now. He’s going to make it I hope papa makes it through like he always does but just remember you can call me if you want to talk to me if he doesn’t make it. Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! What are you going to be now 23? (50). tell kc to email me!! Haha that’s cool he is going out there. It’s good to hear things are going good at home. Ok so now for your weird questions... when I open my front door I see houses across from me, it’s usually sunny or in the morning it smells like old nasty fish, if it’s raining it smells like worse nasty fish smell haha. I have been reading the book of Mormon again and going all the way through and studying preach my gospel also, and reading a marvelous work and a wonder too, and sometimes writing in my journal. Elder green is great we have been working hard. he is a cool kid he is a month younger then me and he looks like he’s 14 but yea he’s cool haha.my mission president it great when you’re on him good side terrifying when you get on his bad side, other than that he is a great guy haha. I never take me clothes to the cleaners just wash them at home, the suits it’s just really a waste of money to wash them too often. I have been eating pasta, pizza, ham sandwiches, uh some other stuff I’m sure haha. I get yelled at all the time it’s pretty funny when it happens.my feet are great my shoes are losing it but ah well I’m just going to use them until they die. I usually run out of time like I’m about to do now, but sometimes I just don’t have anything to say haha, this missionary things isn’t really super interesting all the time ya know? But yea I got to go I’ll keep praying for everyone, I love you and miss you have a good week!

My new companion is Elder Green he is from California, we do have a new person in the flat his name is Elder Powell. He has only been out a month and a half longer than me. So yea that’s the guys in Grimsby. I’m sure papa will be fine, if not it is what is meant to be. If it’s one thing I’ve sort of noticed being on a mission things aren't random at all, everything happens for a reason. No matter what. It is sad, but I do get there faith, it’s all up to heavenly father now just like it always has been. Things here are good I don't really need anything right now. This last week we scheduled Michael father of 2 with cancer, he came to church this last week also without his family and without us trying to get him here. So he is doing really well he wants me to baptize him, so I’m super excited but still nervous for that. Other than that the weather is getting a whole lot better. It rained all day yesterday but yea other than that haha. Not too bad. How are things going back home? I hope you have a good week! I’ll talk to you next week. I love you and I miss you!

I’m happy you were able to get there eventually, that gave me some peace. Things are going good here I am not moving and I am also getting elder green for my companion who is an elder from the other Grimsby team so he is just switching beds in the same flat and coming over to help me out haha. Along with that things are going good, I don’t have to pack so that’s good. I did see conference and I watched the opposing votes too haha, its funny to me that president Uchtdorf said the ones who opposed for them to talk to the stake president. we had ours in the chapel with us and I was so close to asking him what he would do if someone would come to him and talk to him about it, I didn’t I was afraid. But yea haha things are going good here I am staying here for at least another 5 weeks (short transfer) but yea. conference for me all the things that stuck out to me was really all about marriage and less active people and the atonement (obviously) but I really liked the story that was told about the brothers climbing up the wall. So I’ve decided I’m going to get married and I am going to not go less active so that’s good haha. but on a serious note I also noticed something that I tend to forget a lot, that Jesus Christ didn’t just suffer for our sins but also all the pains and problems we will have in this life he felt, he knows us perfectly because he has been through exactly what we are going through. Sometimes we feel alone but we don’t need to he is always there, ready and willing to reach out is arms and grab us to help us up from whatever slump we are in. I know that’s true and I need to do better on remembering that, especially in hard times. But yea I love you and I miss you I hope you are having a good time doing chores like the old days haha. Tell everyone up there in Washington I said hi and that I would like to see them at some point when I come home haha. But yea I better go we have a lot to do this p-day. Have a good week!

Sorry a little behind. My dad has been very sick and I have been out of town so I am trying to catch up.

I don’t need anything at all, a lady in the ward helped me out with the trousers I have, and nothing else needs to be replaced. Its transfer week this next week, no one thinks I’m moving but it could happen. Next week I am going to be emailing on Tuesday.  As for my week it has been good, we got 2 new investigators doing the same thing that that guy did with the service. elder gurney and I were knocking she said no, we offered service and she said we could do her garden, which was a jungle I might add, and after 4 trips out there and doing the service for her we asked her if we could come tell her and her son why we do this. They said yea so we taught them last night, she reminds me a lot of you, just crazy enough to join the church haha. I talk to people on the street a lot we knock more though Grimsby isn’t exactly a great place to street contact. But yea everything is going good here, things are happening, slowly but surely we should have a baptism soon that will be good. But I hope you have a good week I’ll talk to you the next one down, I love you and miss you. Oh and thanks for the pictures!
