Things are good haha Grimsby has been fun recently I am just knocking a whole lot with Elder Green. And teaching Michael, he’s going to make his date we are going to find out today if his surgery for carpel tunnel in his hands went alright, if those are good he’s getting dunked. I don’t know why he chose me to baptize him but I assume he just wants the guy who started teaching him again to do it. He does have cancer, it is terminal, but he should last a while he is doing a lot better now. He’s going to make it I hope papa makes it through like he always does but just remember you can call me if you want to talk to me if he doesn’t make it. Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! What are you going to be now 23? (50). tell kc to email me!! Haha that’s cool he is going out there. It’s good to hear things are going good at home. Ok so now for your weird questions... when I open my front door I see houses across from me, it’s usually sunny or in the morning it smells like old nasty fish, if it’s raining it smells like worse nasty fish smell haha. I have been reading the book of Mormon again and going all the way through and studying preach my gospel also, and reading a marvelous work and a wonder too, and sometimes writing in my journal. Elder green is great we have been working hard. he is a cool kid he is a month younger then me and he looks like he’s 14 but yea he’s cool haha.my mission president it great when you’re on him good side terrifying when you get on his bad side, other than that he is a great guy haha. I never take me clothes to the cleaners just wash them at home, the suits it’s just really a waste of money to wash them too often. I have been eating pasta, pizza, ham sandwiches, uh some other stuff I’m sure haha. I get yelled at all the time it’s pretty funny when it happens.my feet are great my shoes are losing it but ah well I’m just going to use them until they die. I usually run out of time like I’m about to do now, but sometimes I just don’t have anything to say haha, this missionary things isn’t really super interesting all the time ya know? But yea I got to go I’ll keep praying for everyone, I love you and miss you have a good week!

My new companion is Elder Green he is from California, we do have a new person in the flat his name is Elder Powell. He has only been out a month and a half longer than me. So yea that’s the guys in Grimsby. I’m sure papa will be fine, if not it is what is meant to be. If it’s one thing I’ve sort of noticed being on a mission things aren't random at all, everything happens for a reason. No matter what. It is sad, but I do get there faith, it’s all up to heavenly father now just like it always has been. Things here are good I don't really need anything right now. This last week we scheduled Michael father of 2 with cancer, he came to church this last week also without his family and without us trying to get him here. So he is doing really well he wants me to baptize him, so I’m super excited but still nervous for that. Other than that the weather is getting a whole lot better. It rained all day yesterday but yea other than that haha. Not too bad. How are things going back home? I hope you have a good week! I’ll talk to you next week. I love you and I miss you!

I’m happy you were able to get there eventually, that gave me some peace. Things are going good here I am not moving and I am also getting elder green for my companion who is an elder from the other Grimsby team so he is just switching beds in the same flat and coming over to help me out haha. Along with that things are going good, I don’t have to pack so that’s good. I did see conference and I watched the opposing votes too haha, its funny to me that president Uchtdorf said the ones who opposed for them to talk to the stake president. we had ours in the chapel with us and I was so close to asking him what he would do if someone would come to him and talk to him about it, I didn’t I was afraid. But yea haha things are going good here I am staying here for at least another 5 weeks (short transfer) but yea. conference for me all the things that stuck out to me was really all about marriage and less active people and the atonement (obviously) but I really liked the story that was told about the brothers climbing up the wall. So I’ve decided I’m going to get married and I am going to not go less active so that’s good haha. but on a serious note I also noticed something that I tend to forget a lot, that Jesus Christ didn’t just suffer for our sins but also all the pains and problems we will have in this life he felt, he knows us perfectly because he has been through exactly what we are going through. Sometimes we feel alone but we don’t need to he is always there, ready and willing to reach out is arms and grab us to help us up from whatever slump we are in. I know that’s true and I need to do better on remembering that, especially in hard times. But yea I love you and I miss you I hope you are having a good time doing chores like the old days haha. Tell everyone up there in Washington I said hi and that I would like to see them at some point when I come home haha. But yea I better go we have a lot to do this p-day. Have a good week!

Sorry a little behind. My dad has been very sick and I have been out of town so I am trying to catch up.

I don’t need anything at all, a lady in the ward helped me out with the trousers I have, and nothing else needs to be replaced. Its transfer week this next week, no one thinks I’m moving but it could happen. Next week I am going to be emailing on Tuesday.  As for my week it has been good, we got 2 new investigators doing the same thing that that guy did with the service. elder gurney and I were knocking she said no, we offered service and she said we could do her garden, which was a jungle I might add, and after 4 trips out there and doing the service for her we asked her if we could come tell her and her son why we do this. They said yea so we taught them last night, she reminds me a lot of you, just crazy enough to join the church haha. I talk to people on the street a lot we knock more though Grimsby isn’t exactly a great place to street contact. But yea everything is going good here, things are happening, slowly but surely we should have a baptism soon that will be good. But I hope you have a good week I’ll talk to you the next one down, I love you and miss you. Oh and thanks for the pictures!

Mother,

I’m doing good. Things are going good here on the front line. It was a fort night before I emailed you last. Ok I can’t talk like that it hurts my brain haha. It’s good here. We have been finding a lot, time wise, not people wise. It’s been a good week no new investigators but a couple close ones. We got into a house with a 21 year old girl (Katie) and her 3 year old son (Austin), they seem really promising, super prepared. She’s not an investigator yet but she will be haha. As for the sleep walking, I have not done that at all, I am also on the top bunk so all I can do is move around a bunch on me bed (which happens a lot) but I have made my companion crack up from a conversation he had with me when I was asleep. I am doing good just pluggin along here in Grimsby. I got 2 of you packages the Oreo’s and the Reese’s eggs, which were smashed but still good. haha I did get an email from the bishop but he didn’t talk to me at all about money, it’s really not to bad I’m not buying stupid things, I’m really not trying to spend personal funds at all really but sometimes I have to because at the end of the month if I don’t get reimbursements in quick enough I run out for the last week of the month (like today) haha. But yea things are good. Oh hey I’m going to try this new thing I’ve been thinking about and I think I can do it. I am going to send a picture or me and a guy with a beard to kc every week. I have one for this week so I’m just going to ask to get pictures with bearded men my whole mission haha. But I’m going to send him the first one today tell him to check his email. so yea I’m pretty much done I don’t know what else to say, besides that I know I’m here for a reason and I know I’m not depressed! Know the church is true and thinking back on where I was in my life before and up to this point, I would be at home doing nothing right now if it wasn’t for this. (Well I know what I would be doing I would be sleeping). But I love this out here and I love you and miss you along with everyone back at home. Have a good week.

Missionary Monday again! March 16, 2015

Mom,

I do fine with money and when I pull the money out of the account that you give me I don’t spend it like at all I only use it when I run out of church money. Thanks for doing my taxes like you usually do lol. oh hey I was thinking about money and instead of putting money in my account like randomly throughout the month, I thought it would be cool just to get a certain amount in the beginning or in the middle of the month. I don’t really know what a number would be but I was thinking like 160 dollars a month and then if I need any of it will use it if I don’t i'll save it. Thanks for getting me those pictures off of Facebook and the things off of amazon that I haven’t gotten yet haha. You’re fine to send it to the flat, transfers aren’t until the second week in April, that’s the only reason they say that. I talked about olu and I called him a boss because he is awesome haha I don’t know any other way to describe him. He is pretty receptive to the lessons. But I don’t think that is because he is from Nigeria, he grew up in London since he was like 14 now he has a wife and 3 kids. The Slovak branches in the mission baptize every week. Like every Saturday there is a baptism, that’s just because they are Slovakian haha. I think the reason those people are so good is because they all know each other in the little town so they like bring all of the other people with them from their country and get them all baptized haha. The pictures you sent are great! Now I can finally show people that Colorado is better than Utah haha. Could I get more from Chicago and Nauvoo? Other than that I don’t need anything thanks for putting money in my account. Oh and with the recipe book I think I can print it off it will just cost some money haha because I’m at the library but yea I can. And I’m not teaching anyone else haha just those 2 really we will find more soon. You went on a 5 mile hike? That’s great! Haha how much weight have you lost? Jer: yea it is a great time in my life haha. I’m not depressed at all, I’ll be sure to let you know when I am though haha. Hey could you tell Missy I’m gonna email her next week I keep on forgetting her email on here haha. What are you doing up this early?

Me: I will tell her. Dad leaves for work at like 7 so I was up making him an egg sandwich.

Jer:  nice tell him I said hey!

Me: I don't know about the 160 a month thing. Until I find a job its slim pickins. So I will send you what I can ok?

Jer: ok yea it’s just whatever you can do just all at once haha

Jer: and did you guys sell all of his tools in the garage sale?

Me: No we didn't sell any of his tools. He still needs them especially since we still have that jeep! Why do you want to know if we sold his tools? You going to become a mechanic?

Jer: yea haha good! I need to get a car when I get back home and I’m gonna need to fix that thing too!

Jer:  I was just thinking of flipping cars with him when I get home. But I gotta go mom I love you have a good week! And I think I’m going into construction
